Between 10 and 16, your brain is rewiring to care more about peers, your appearance, your group. This is normal β and also genuinely hard. The kids who come through it strongest are the ones who learn a few specific skills early: noticing their inner voice, building real friendships, saying "no" without losing themselves, and treating themselves like a person worth caring for.
